The grand finale of our voyage around the Galapagos was Genovesa Island. For many years this place was restricted from visitors, but we are now permitted to visit. This island has a tremendous population of sea bird species like boobies and frigates and the waters of this Island allow visitors to have close encounters with large sharks like hammer-heads.
