We woke up, to a nice cloudy day in the Peruvian Upper Amazon, giving us some good light for photography. Along the ride, we had some rain that accompanied us for the way. Even though it was a but misty, we spotted some black collar hawks, neo-tropical cormorants, monk-saki monkeys, squirrel monkeys, a large number of great egrets feeding at the low water areas of the flooded forest.

We also had the opportunity to visit a small community, where locals had handicrafts of different kinds. The people were very welcoming and happy to see us pay them a visit and learn about their lifestyle.

After our morning exploration we had a photography talk, and some of us shared photographs to display on our final slide show of the trip.

After lunch, we went out to explore again and find some a small family of sloths (mother, father and offspring) on a low tree, giving us the chance to have a clear look at this creatures.
