Today was our first full day of the expedition, and it was an exciting day full of activities. We started our morning with a pre-breakfast hike at South Plazas. This island is a treasure with an incredible number of seabirds and sea lions. After hiking, we came back on board to enjoy a delicious breakfast before we left for kayaking. At lunchtime, we made a short navigation to Santa Fe Island, where our guests had an opportunity to snorkel in deep waters with sea turtles, sharks, rays, and, of course, the most charismatic creatures in the Galapagos: the sea lions! The last activity of the day was a hike at Santa Fe. We spotted several endemic species and enjoyed the sunset. What an amazing day in the islands!
