The DER below is from the expedition to Cuba that began on January 4, 2017.

Changes in plans often bring surprising results. Strong winds offshore kept us in port one more day, so we made the most of “Plan B” by visiting Santa Clara, a bustling university town and the site of a memorial to “Che” Guervara located in the geographic center of Cuba. Led by Che Guevara, the liberation of Santa Clara in December of 1958 marked the beginning of the end for the Barista regime.
