Early in the morning National Geographic Sea Lion dropped anchor in a calm bay of Manuel Antonio National Park.  Two options were offered to our guests. One long, interpretive hike was around Cathedral Point and another leveled walk along a trial known as Sloth Valley Trail due to the number of sloth seen along the premises.

This park is surrounded by development and major predators left the area leaving medium size mammals to roam without the fear of being predated. Today, sloth, primates like howler monkeys and whiteface capuchin monkeys competes for food and territories up in the canopy.
