Today we headed across the Drake Passage, one of the roughest bodies of water in the world. We had heard of earlier trips by various sailors across this passage and were prepared for the worst. Somehow the weather gods were extremely kind and not only did we have warm, sunny weather, but the seas presented us with nothing more than huge rolling swells.
All day we were accompanied by albatross and petrels which guided us along our way.
