We started our day with a pre-breakfast outing to explore more of the exotic nature living within the Peruvian rainforest.  We went on a ride along the river to spot a large number of animals, including birds and monkeys along the trees flooded with water.  A couple of yellow and blue macaws flew across the sky. We got lucky to spot a small sloth climbing down a tree and it eventually stopped on a lower branch, allowing us to photograph it.

After the skiff ride, we had the opportunity to visit a local shaman, who explained about the properties of all the medicinal plants she was using to cure the local people from common illness.  While listening to the explanation of the local shaman, a pigmy marmosette was sighted hopping around the greenery allowing us to photograph it, while the rest of us learned about the medicinal uses of the plants from the Amazon.

After lunch, we headed on an expedition to Amazon Natural Park, where we had a hike into the deepness of the rainforest. Along the way we practiced some of our photography, and captured a couple of squirrel monkeys jumping in between the trees. Soon, we arrived to an area where there were hanging bridges, and we crossed all of them, allowing us to photograph from a different angle and closer to the canopy of the rainforest.  On the way back, while paddling across a calm lagoon, we spotted about three monkeys, sitting on top of the canopy. These were dusky titi monkeys. These mammals were curious enough to come down to see us and offer us the opportunity to photograph them from up close.
