Today, we had a full day of exploration on National Geographic Endeavour II.
We started our activities hiking in Urbina Bay. During our exploration, we saw giant tortoises and land iguanas all over the trail. In addition, Galapagos hawks were flying over us. Two of them were juveniles and the other two were adults. It was very special to see the family of hawks flying all together.
After the hike, we enjoyed one of the most exciting activities of the expedition: Zodiac driving lessons. Global explorers get to learn how to drive a Zodiac! We had an amazing time.
In the afternoon, we explored Tagus Cove by snorkeling, kayaking, hiking, and by Zodiac rides. We all got to see the Galapagos penguin and the iconic flightless cormorant. It was a wonderful day aboard National Geographic Endeavour II.
