Today we took our guests to two beautiful locations situated in the central portion of the Galapagos Archipelago. South Plaza Island was our first destination this morning. Here, we got a chance to look for Galapagos land iguanas and found several sunbathing or actively feeding on prickly pear cactus. Later for our afternoon stop, we navigated to Santa Fe Island and kayaked along its big bay. Several of our guests spotted green sea turtles, eagle rays, and white-tipped reef sharks. We then had an exploratory walk in the interior of the island. We saw dozens of Galapagos sea lions, and a few lucky guests saw a Galapagos hawk sitting on some bushes close to our trail!
