Today National Geographic Endeavour II visited Seymour Island as the first activity of the day. Here we took a natural history walk where we saw lots of Galapagos animals like blue-footed boobies, marine iguanas, land Iguanas, frigate birds, swallow tail birds and many others. They were all right next to us on the trail. Then we headed to the ship again to get ready for the afternoon activities on Rabida Island.
During the afternoon we snorkeled from Rabida Beach, and it was the perfect place to either practice for the first time or snorkel a bit deeper with sea lions and many colorful fish. After this activity we got ready for a beautiful sunset walk along Rabida Beach where we got to see flamingos nesting on a brackish lagoon. It was a perfect first day of expedition aboard National Geographic Endeavour II.
