We had a full day of adventure from sunrise to sunset. For a pre-breakfast activity, we explored a black sand beach. At this time of year, Pacific green sea turtles are getting ready for mating and nesting, and we observed many turtles mating along the beach. Meanwhile, blue-footed boobies were busy diving for fish in the same location.
Later in the morning, we explored the coastline of Buccaneer Cove, another interesting visitors’ site. This time, we used our paddleboards and kayaks. What a fun and interesting activity.
The day continued with snorkeling and tidepool exploration in Egas Port, another interesting location. It is the best place to see two endemic species of sea lions. The tidepool was full of invertebrates.
