Today we woke for an early pre-breakfast walk at Espumilla Beach on Santiago Island. Here we observed a number of bird species such as blue footed boobies, brown pelicans and even Galapagos hawks. After a delicious breakfast, kayakers and paddle boarders went along the shore while other guests went for a snorkel near Buccaneer’s Cove.
In the afternoon, after lunch, we visited Puerto Egas. This wonderful shoreline provided great scenery for photographers who had a chance to spend some time with the sea lions and marine iguanas basking on the beach and rocks. We finished this last full day in the Galapagos Islands with a cocktail on the lounge of National Geographic Islander II.
