With a very exciting pre-breakfast outing, we started a beautiful day on Santiago Island with a great walk on Espumilla Beach. We spent the second part of the morning at Buccaneer Cove which is a legendary location once used by early sailors. It has an amazing coast, and the volcanic landscape and wildlife are unique. It is Ideal for kayaking, Zodiac rides, glass bottom boat outings, and snorkeling. It has so much to offer!
In the afternoon, we sailed to the western side of Santiago to a place called Puerto Egas. This destination was once a salt mine and is a great place for a nature walk. Here, we observed amazing diverse wildlife, from marine iguanas, herons, shore birds, and sea birds, to sea lions and fur seals. It was an exciting and overwhelming day!
