We arrived at Santiago Island in the early hours of the day. This morning we started our first outing before breakfast to the scenic Espumilla Beach. Later that morning we went to Buccaneers cove for a Zodiac ride and a last deep water snorkel along the coast.
This afternoon we went to the shore on Puerto Egas and had a great time observing marine and Galapagos land iguanas, Galapagos sea lions and fur seals, and many Santiago lava lizards all along the trail. Weather could not have been better; we had a nice balmy walk with a smooth, constant breeze the afternoon through.
