Another day, another adventure.

The adventure starts early in the morning with an early hike along a soft sandy beach where turtles nest almost year round. Here also concentrates a large number of animal species looking for the abundance of life either on land and the water.

Pelicans and boobies diving just of the shore, Galapagos hawks waiting for baby turtles or other animals like crabs along the coast.

The other half of the morning includes snorkeling, kayaking and zodiac rides. You decide what you want to do. Snorkeling is one of the favorites. These waters are so rich in life, beautiful and colorful fishes, sea lions, turtles and more can be seen and enjoyed.

Some wanted to go on a zodiac ride to enjoy the fantastic landscape of Buccaneer’s Cove, where the ocean waves and the wind have together shaped the land into incredible forms.

We are ready for the afternoon.

After landing on a black sandy beach and putting our shoes on we headed down a dusty path to the adjacent short line where lots of animals concentrate. One of them is the Galapagos fur sea lion, away from the sand to avoid overheating they can be found on rocky areas as they provide shade for their comfort while they are on land. Phenomenal lava arches filled with sea water surround the area and makes it look pretty also. So this place has everything; wildlife, geology, plants, waves and more.

Colonies of marine iguanas and Galapagos sea lions are found at almost every step we make. Lava lizards cross the path as we move along. This area is yearly visited by many types of migratory species like; ruddy turnstones, whimbrels and others.

Fantastic weather was just the perfect complement for another fantastic day in the Galapagos.
