In the morning, we explored one of the most fascinating islands of the Galapagos. Upon landing, we were greeted by a playful group of Galapagos sea lion pups, which set a joyful tone for the day. We ventured into an ancient giant prickly pear cactus forest. The tall trees and unique land iguanas added to our delight. Some guests opted for kayaking in the island's turquoise bays instead of hiking.
Before lunch, we set sail southeast to Cerro Brujo, our afternoon destination. Here, our guests enjoyed a final opportunity to swim in the Pacific Ocean and walk along one of the most beautiful beaches of the Galapagos Islands.
As the day wound down, we returned to National Geographic Islander II and were treated to a spectacular sunset near Kicker Rock, a perfect ending to a day filled with adventure and joy.
