Today was a remarkable day aboard National Geographic Venture. We stopped in San Jose Del Cabo, where we enjoyed a beautiful birding hike and ended up seeing 53 different species in the Estero wetlands. Those that opted for town time went on an amazing historical tour. We then spent the afternoon cruising north looking at humpback whales all around the vessel. We even had a beautiful encounter with a breaching baby humpback, right off the bow. It was a perfect day, and we’re looking forward to many more on our remarkable journey in Baja California.
