On our last day in Galapagos, we arrived at San Cristóbal Island. We explored two different sites: during the morning we hiked to the top of Punta Pitt, and in the afternoon, we went to Cerro Brujo.

San Cristóbal Island is where the political capital of the Galapagos province is located. This is Puerto Baquerizo and is one of the oldest islands in the archipelago. The HMS Beagle visited this island in 1835 with Charles Darwin on board and it was the first island on the archipelago that he walked on.

We experienced the very beginning of the rainy season on the islands. We started our exploration with some large waves on the islands, the warm waters and sunny days have just begun. Overall, we had an amazing week.
