On the great Amazon River lies Pacaya-Samira National Reserve, a place of immense natural riches which requires careful protection and management. Here we find a great variety of birds, monkeys, plants, fish, and more. Pink and gray dolphins use this area to find fish for food.
We even enjoyed a plunge in the dark waters of the Pacaya River, surrounded by stunning beauty and river dolphins. All around us were amazing possibilities for photography and wildlife watching. We continued exploring these rivers and creeks on one of our tools of exploration — small boats called skiffs — whose drivers and guides spot wildlife and share with us their passion and love for the unique Amazon region.
