Today we started our visit on North Seymour Island, a flat island located north of Baltra Island. The uplifted island offers a dry and deciduous environment and great opportunities to admire a vast marine bird community. We enjoyed a beautiful morning among blue-footed boobies, frigatebirds, and swallow-tailed gulls (the only nocturnal gull).
In the afternoon, we headed towards Rábida Island. From the moment we approached, we were impressed by the uniquely colored sand on the rich, iron-oxide beach. We had the chance to observe the underwater world of the Galapagos Islands and concluded the day with a relaxed walk along the beach and a late kayaking trip.
