Today, guests of National Geographic Resolution had the unique opportunity to travel the James Ross Strait, a channel between King William Island and the Boothia Peninsula in the territory of Nunavut. The day started out with a romantic haze over the water in the morning, then opened to a bright, sunny afternoon for all to enjoy outside. Many of us attended a presentation from our on-board National Geographic expert Nick Cobbing entitled, “How to Shoot Like a National Geographic Photographer.” In the evening, our community ambassador Akpak gave an exciting and fascinating presentation in the Ice Lounge about Arctic sports, demonstrating some of the sports that he regularly trains in and coaches at home.
