We arrived at Half Moon Bay at daybreak. The sun was rising, and the full moon was setting over the dramatic mountains of the Baja California Peninsula. We spent the entire day exploring the bay—kayaking, paddleboarding and snorkeling. Naturalists and the photographic instructor offered guided, leisurely walks through salt flats, as well as hikes up a rocky ridge. From the top, we were rewarded with beautiful views overlooking Half Moon Bay.
