We started our morning with a wonderful hike in Urbina Bay; here we were surprised to see for first time the Galapagos giant tortoises. The temperature was increasing a little bit during the hike so when we got to the end of the hike, most of our guest jumped in the water to relax and refresh themselves.
After this activity, our naturalist Patricio Maldonado shared with us a very interesting talk about smart phone photography. After this talk, we cannot wait to get into the field and apply all we learned and get our National Geographic Galapagos photo! Then, it was time for one of the best lunches ever! The Ecuadorian Lunch! We love this moment because it is our opportunity to share our culture and food.
After a deserved siesta, it was time to go kayaking or snorkeling along Tagus Cove. Penguins, sharks, rays, marine iguanas, sea turtles, flightless cormorants and different kind of fish were swimming next to us. Galapagos animals are so peaceful that we could take all the pictures we wanted and they will stay still for us. To end this day, we had a perfect sunset with beautiful orange colors.
