Our last day of whale watching in the northern part of the Magdalena coastal lagoon was special since we observed a trio of mating partners in action. There was a show of flukes, pectoral fins and strong breaths. Later, we transited southbound in the canal, with sights of sea birds, and anchored for the last outing. We discovered a fascinating world walking on the dunes and the sandy beach of Sand Dollar Beach at Santa Maria Bay.
