Today we had our last day in the Guanacaste region with its unique ecosystem and a tropical dry forest. What better way to spend our last day.
We explored Curu Wildlife Refuge for the better part of the morning. We enjoyed different hikes to look for wildlife as we learned about this very special ecosystem.
We had a nice, chill afternoon on Tortuga Island. We enjoyed beach time and a dance performance. We had some lessons on tropical rhythms right on the beach. The perfect ending to a great day was a meal set up on the beach by the crew of National Geographic Quest.
