Our morning began by picking up our park ranger, Meghan, at Bartlett Cove. The weather was absolutely spectacular in Glacier Bay today allowing us to view the Fairweather Range in all its glory. As we made our way towards Marjorie Glacier, the hotel department treated our guests to a round of Bloody Marys. Once we arrived at the glacier and were gathered on the bow, we were lucky enough to witness a bit of calving from Marjorie Glacier.
Mountain goats were seen at Gloomy Knob. Then we were off to South Marble Island, which is always a highlight here in the park. There is such a variety of nesting birds, with the tufted puffins being a particular highlight for guests. This afternoon we saw horned puffins and a humpback whale as well!
