The gardens are still privately owned by the Butchart family and attract visitors from all over the world. After enjoying our morning visit to the garden, we returned to the ship for lunch and spent the rest of the day visiting the many interesting shops and museums in the city.

This morning we visited the world famous Butchart Gardens just outside the city of Victoria in British Columbia. We had a beautiful, clear, sunny day for our visit. The gardens were a blaze of color from many beautiful plantings of flowering plants from all over the world.
