We were near Carmen Island and saw a couple of blue whales. One of them approached the boat in an unconcerned manner, as if it didn't care whether or not we were there. Its magnificent hydrodynamic form, its size and speed made us realize we were in the presence of one of the most awesome creatures on Earth.
