What a wonderful day we all had today!

Early in the morning we set a foot on Bartolomé Island, “the open book of geology”. This is an optional walk to a 372 step up to the top of this small but impressive island. Some of us went fast as a morning exercise, and some of us took a bit of time and proceeded with our naturalists' interpretation of its surroundings. Once on top we all were mesmerized by the impressive view from above, the world famous pinnacle rock was in front of us, what a sight.

Back onboard for breakfast and soon after, we disembarked to this beautiful golden beach for our water activities, snorkeling, swimming, or just strolling about the beaches which Bartolomé island is also famous for.

As soon as we were all back onboard we waived anchor for our next destination, James Island.

Landing on a black sandy beach, some of us snorkeled and others just puledl out a yellow towel and sunbathed under our elusive equatorial sun. Some of the guests walked to the grottos, the land for fur seals and many other fantastic creatures. This was our perfect opportunity to say good bye to this wonderful place as the sun was setting on the horizon.

Our expedition has come to an end; we had the greatest time and we had brilliant children which may not comeback soon; we hope the experience will remain in their hearts for a life time.
