Exploring the southern island of Floreana was a fantastic experience. This small island offers incredible landscapes as well as many endemic and native creatures, both on land and underwater. We kept busy throughout the day with excursions ashore, Zodiac rides and snorkeling opportunities. At famous Post Office Bay, we learned why this is the oldest mailing “office” on this side of the Pacific Ocean, a tradition since 1793 originally established by whalers.
