It’s been over a decade now since the Galapagos National Park decided it was time to start restoring the whole of the island. This region was severely impacted by visitors such as pirates, explorers, first settlers, and many others. I’m sure there is still a lot to be done, but it is amazing to see so much natural beauty around Floreana Island.
