Today marked the return of National Geographic Orion to the South Pass of Fakarava for the first time since 2019. The South Pass in Fakarava is known for amazing diving and snorkeling and no one was disappointed. Some of the guests were able to dive the pass with hundreds of gray reef sharks (Carcharhinus amblyrhynchos) while the other guests witnessed the show from above as they snorkeled. There was also time to relax on a pink sand beach and enjoy the beautiful sunset from inside this amazing lagoon. What a day!
