Our expedition on National Geographic Islander II is coming to an end and today we awoke for a pre breakfast kayak on the island of Española to make the most of our time. After breakfast we went to Gardner Beach where sea lions greeted us. After a beach walk, guests could enjoy a deep-water snorkel at Gardner Islet.
Later, the ship changed location and headed to the western part of the island. Punta Suarez is home to a special marine iguana that has red and green coloration, making it known as the Christmas iguana. We took Zodiacs out to explore the shores and afterward, the ship took us around the island so that guests could enjoy the magnificent cliffs.
