Today we explored two outstanding sites on Santiago Island. In the morning we explored Chinese Hat by kayak, Zodiac, and snorkeling. In the afternoon we walked along a lava flow in Sullivan Bay. These places offered amazing opportunities to observe iconic species such as the Galapagos penguin, sea lions, and a number of species of sea birds. It was also a wonderful day for our guests to practice their photography skills while learning about the natural history and geology of the Galapagos Islands.
