This morning we eagerly awoke very early to explore the tributaries of the Amazon River. Navigating easily with our small maneuverable skiffs through the narrow sections of some of these tributaries, with the aid of our expert skiff-drivers and nature guides, we saw biodiversity everywhere. Beginning with the lush dense forest, with trees of all sizes and all shades of green to the incredible number of species of birds that constantly flew out of the forest, or were spotted by the incredibly sharp eyes of our naturalists and skiff drivers.
