Awaking under the shelter of Ross Island where we had been parked in fast ice overnight, our National Geographic photographer, Camille Seaman, provided guests with inspiration on how to advance their photography skills.
During lunch the ship relocated, and we had the great privilege to land and enter the historic hut at Cape Evans. The snow continued to blow in horizontally and gave guests a true taste of what it must have been like to experience an expedition in Antarctica over 100 years ago.
During afternoon tea, the galley team opened their stations for a behind the scenes look. Guests were able to have treats and see where the magic happens.
A great day was finished in style with an open mic night led by our mighty ship band, the “Shackletunes’.
