Our second day of the crossing to South Georgia continued the smooth sailing we had experienced the day before and we all delighted in the calm seas and bright blue skies – particularly those of us who had seen the South Atlantic in other moods! The day passed quickly, with several presentations on the biology and history of the amazing island ahead of us, some time for photography of seabirds and a special barbeque teatime of Argentinian sausages and beer in the warm sunshine on the aft deck.
