Roula Skoula

Zafiria-Roula-Skoula was born on the island of Crete. She first studied journalism and worked as a print and radio journalist for many years in Athens. A lifetime lover of travel and history, she found the perfect combination in a career as a guide in Athens.

She has served as an educational travel guide through Greece and other countries for over 27 years working with almost all major universities from the U.S., Canada, Great Britain, Australia, and Italy. In addition to speaking her native Greek, she speaks English and Italian. Each year she participates in specialized conferences and seminars organized by expert archaeologists and the Hellenic Ministry of Culture and Tourism in order to increase her knowledge of Greek history and culture.
