Jordan Vest
Jordan is a geoscientist who found her passion for exploring remote and wild places while studying Geology and Environmental Science at Miami University. After graduating, she traded a permanent address for a backpack and spent the next few years chasing adventures. She’s since lived and worked in some of the most biologically rich and geologically dynamic corners of the world—from guiding rainforest hikes in Puerto Rico and volunteering on permaculture farms in Argentina, to participating in oceanographic research in the Red Sea and finding small ways to connect with local conservation work throughout her travels. Her path eventually brought her to Lindblad Expeditions first as a steward aboard the National Geographic Venture.
Years of living close to the ocean deepened her fascination with marine ecosystems and the geochemical forces that shape them. Now, she is preparing to begin graduate school in Hawai‘i, where she hopes to bring together science, storytelling, and community-driven conservation through her research. Jordan is excited to join Lindblad Expeditions for another season of exploring and connecting our planet's past to the vibrant places we get to explore today.
