Don Heath
Don Heath has always had a love for the outdoors and exploring. Raised in Eastern Utah, Don would spend his free time hiking at Dinosaur National Monument and learning as much as he could about geology and paleontology. As he grew older, Don would spend most of his summer vacations exploring the national parks in Southern Utah.
After high school, Don lived abroad in Mendoza, Argentina for two years. After returning from Argentina, Don studied at Utah State University and Southern Utah University. Don has bachelor's degrees in biology and Spanish and also has a master's degree in educational leadership. Don has spent the last nine years of his career working in public education. Don taught high school biology for five years, was a vice principal for three years, and just completed his first year as principal at a K-5 elementary school in Vernal, Utah.
Ever since college, Don has spent his summers as a tour guide in Utah and throughout Alaska. Don has a passion for teaching and is excited to share his knowledge with you and your family!
